THE JOY HOUSE was sponsored by LAPD Hollwood PAL and continues offering PRE & AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS and ENRICHMENT CLASSES at many schools and school districts around Los Angeles. Introducing kids to fitness, excercise, all styles of dance, music, singing, song writing, gymnastics, designing and performance. Basically teaching kids to DREAM and BELIEVE in themselves.
(Teachers, Parents and the kids just love The Joy House. It makes kids Happy! Miss Joy LOVES teaching! She teaches kids how to get fit, be creative, stay busy, just giving them the tools so they can learn to create their own "Joy House")

Miss Joy was "Cable's Leaders in Learning National Finalist 2007 for General Excellence" and for "Washington DC's Cable in the classroom" for her unique program. The Joy House TV Show and for her work with children and the community.

So hopefully one day kids will bring "the feeling of feeling good about themselves" into their adult lives by staying out of trouble and becoming self sufficient people who contribute something POSITIVE and PRODUCTIVE in this messed up world which we live in today...
